Flecter Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in Flecter’s online program. By joining Flecter, you (and your parent or guardian if you're under 18) agree to these terms. Please read them carefully!

1. What is Flecter?

Flecter is an international, online 6-week program where teenagers (ages 13–19) work in small groups to tackle challenges and come up with creative solutions using AI tools. You’ll get feedback based on your teamwork and personal strengths.

2. Who Can Join?

Flecter is open to teenagers ages 13–19. If you're under 16, you'll need a parent or guardian’s consent to participate.

3. Program Access and Participation

Registration: You must register for Flecter by providing accurate information. This helps us keep you informed and safe.
Online Format: The program is entirely online. You will need a computer or device with internet access to participate.
Active Participation: Flecter requires you to participate in group activities, complete assignments, and engage in online discussions.

4. Fees and Payment

Program Fee: The cost for the program is listed on the Flecter website. This fee covers your full participation for the 6 weeks.
Payment Terms: Payment must be made before the program starts to guarantee your spot.
Refund Policy: No refunds are provided once the program has started. If you need to cancel before the program starts, please check our refund policy for more details.

5. Your Responsibilities

Respect and Collaboration: Treat fellow participants and staff with respect. Follow the Flecter Rules to ensure a positive and safe experience.
Work Ethic: Be prepared to contribute and participate in group activities. Flecter is about teamwork and personal growth, and we want you to do your best.
Content: Only submit original work or properly credit any sources or collaborators. Don’t share anything inappropriate or offensive.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal Information: We take your privacy seriously. We’ll only use your personal information for program-related purposes. We won’t share it with anyone outside of Flecter unless required by law.
Photos and Videos: Flecter may take photos or videos during the program for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to these images being used in our marketing. If you don’t want to be included, let us know!

7. Digital Safety

Account Security: Keep your login information secure. Don't share your account details with anyone.
Behaviour Online: Follow all guidelines for safe online behaviour. Report any suspicious or inappropriate activity immediately to Flecter staff.

8. Termination of Participation

Flecter reserves the right to remove any participant who violates the Code of Conduct or behaves in a way that disrupts the program. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

9. Program Changes

Flecter may make changes to the program, including the schedule or content. We’ll let you know as soon as possible if something important changes.

10. Liability

Flecter is not responsible for any damages or issues that arise from your participation in the program, including technical issues, or missed deadlines. By participating, you agree to take full responsibility for your involvement.

11. Legal Stuff

Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Flecter operates.
Dispute Resolution: If any disputes arise, we'll try to resolve them through friendly discussion. If that doesn't work, legal proceedings will take place in the appropriate jurisdiction.

12. Changes to the Terms

Flecter can update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and you’ll be notified if they’re significant.
